Privacy and data use

Updated October 14, 2026

DevPulse AI is an independent project maintained by Vasanthi Dande. For questions about your data or to request removal of a submitted review, contact dande.vasanthi@gmail.com.

Browsing and local preferences

The public feed does not require an account. Your browser stores preferences such as theme, selected tools, bookmarks, tour status, and learning progress. Clearing site storage removes these preferences from that browser.

Feedback and technology requests

If you submit feedback, the backend receives your name, role, email address, review text, optional rating, and public-display choice. Email is used for verification. With your permission, approved reviews can display your name, role, review, and rating; your email is not included in the public review response. Technology requests send the requested technology name to the backend.

Review text and ratings may be sent to the configured AI provider for moderation. Technology names may also be checked by an AI provider. Avoid including confidential information in these submissions. Email delivery uses the configured mail provider.

Usage analytics

First-party analytics records page views, source clicks, bookmarks, technology filters, and helpfulness votes. Random visitor and session identifiers are stored in your browser and sent with these events. PostHog is configured for page-view analytics. Session recording and automatic interaction capture are disabled in the application. When you opt out, the application skips PostHog initialization and stops sending first-party usage events. Hosting and service providers may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver the service.

Turn off usage analytics in this browser. This opens the home page and saves your opt-out for first-party analytics and PostHog. It does not remove previously collected data or disable operational server logs. Clearing browser storage resets the choice. You can turn analytics back on.

External services and links

The application uses hosting, database, email, AI, and analytics services to provide its features. Links to source articles and tutorials take you to separate websites with their own data practices.

Stored submissions and requests

Feedback and analytics are stored in the backend database. The current application does not implement an automatic retention schedule. Contact the creator to ask about stored submissions or request deletion; do not include sensitive information in your message.
